Today we are heading for Pamir Plateau, the “roof of the world”! Pamirs, “Pamir” is Tajik
The meaning of the “roof of the world”, in the ancient times, was called Zhoushu Mountain and Green Onion. The ancient Silk Road passed here was a gathering place of many major mountain ranges in Asia. The main inhabitants were the Tajik people. After breakfast, set off on Karakoram Highway, the “highest and most beautiful highway in the world”. On the way, you can admire the rural scenery of the Uyghur farmland in southern Xinjiang. Along the way, you can see the “Oitak Red Mountain”, which is called “Southern Flame Mountain”, and take photos in front of the Baisha River, which is known as the Quicksand River, and the ghostly axe Blunkou. Admire the color-changing plateau lake [Lake Karakuri] at close range, and the reflection of the “Father of the Iceberg” Muztag Peak at 7,546 meters above sea level is on the lake of Karakuri.

Morning excursion to Hopper valley, visit Hopper glacier and Hopper valley, afternoon drive to Duiker valley thirty minutes arrive and transfer to hotel. An evening walk through the village to Holy shrines, today you will have opportunity to see many local people working in the fields. (Duiker valley is viewpoint to see the sunset and Sunrise over the beautiful mountains in the surroundings of Hunza). Duiker valley (Roof of the world), have a spectacular view down to Karakoram Highway and awesome views of Golden peak 7027m, Rakaposhi 7788m, Ultar Sar 7388m, Diran Peak 7266m, Lady Finger 6000m and Disteghil Sar 7885m.

Drive to Gilgit 110 km, visit Gilgit town and Kargha Buddha, and continue drive to Gupis 128 km 6-7 hours, en route stop at various viewpoint for photography and refreshment. Arrive and transfer to hotel

Drive from Gupis to Phandar 60km, local visits in Phandar village and enjoy trout fishing at Phandar Lake. Evening drive back to Gupis 60 km.

Drive back to Gilgit 128 km, after refreshment drive to Raikot bridge 78 km and by jeep to Tato village 1 hour and trek to Fairy Meadows 5.5 km, 640 m ascent, Altitude 3306 m, have a Spectacular view of Nanga Parbat 8125 m. Overnight in huts.

Full day excursion to Nanga Parbat view point, evening trek back to Fairy Meadows. Nanga Parbat is one of the eight-thousanders. An immense, dramatic peak rising far above its surrounding terrain, Nanga Parbat is also a notoriously difficult climb. Nanga Parbat was first climbed, via the Rakhiot Flank (East Ridge), on July 3, 1953 by Austrian climber Hermann Buhl, a member of a German-Austrian team

Trek down to Tato village 3 hours, by jeep to Raikot bridge (Karakorum highway) and continue drive to Naran via Babusar Pass 4173 m 160 km. Arrive Naran and transfer to hotel. After refreshment excursion to Saif-ul-Maluk Lake.

Drive to Islamabad 6-7 hours 239 km, en-route visit Taxila museum and historical sites. Taxila: Most of the archaeological sites of Taxila (600 BC to 500 AD) are located around Taxila museum. For over one thousand-year Taxila remained famous as a centre of learning Gandhara art of sculpture, architecture, education, and Buddhism in the days of Buddhist glory. There are over 50 archaeological sites scattered in a radius of 30 km around Taxila. In Taxila visit archaeological sites of Jaulian, Mohra Moradu, and Sirkap. Later visit. Taxila museum: A museum comprising various sections with rich archaeological finds of Taxila. It is one of the best and well-maintained site museums of Pakistan.

Drive to Lahore 380 km, 4 hours, en route visit Katas Raj Temples, upon arrival at Lahore transfer to Wagha border to see flag lowering ceremony
