The meaning of the “roof of the world”, in the ancient times, was called Zhoushu Mountain and Green Onion. The ancient Silk Road passed here was a gathering place of many major mountain ranges in Asia. The main inhabitants were the Tajik people. After breakfast, set off on Karakoram Highway, the “highest and most beautiful highway in the world”. On the way, you can admire the rural scenery of the Uyghur farmland in southern Xinjiang. Along the way, you can see the “Oitak Red Mountain”, which is called “Southern Flame Mountain”, and take photos in front of the Baisha River, which is known as the Quicksand River, and the ghostly axe Blunkou. Admire the color-changing plateau lake [Lake Karakuri] at close range, and the reflection of the “Father of the Iceberg” Muztag Peak at 7,546 meters above sea level is on the lake of Karakuri.

For over one thousand-year Taxila remained famous as a centre of learning Gandhara art of sculpture, architecture, education, and Buddhism in the days of Buddhist glory. There are over 50 archaeological sites scattered in a radius of 30 km around Taxila. In Taxila visit archaeological sites of Jaulian, Mohra Moradu, and Sirkap. Later visit. Taxila museum: A museum comprising various sections with rich archaeological finds of Taxila. It is one of the best and well-maintained site museums of Pakistan.
