Detailed Itinerary

Day-01: Islamabad and Rawalpindi

Welcome at Islamabad airport, and transfer to hotel. Afternoon proceed for city tour of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, which includes famous Faisal Mosque, Shakar Parian, Pakistan monument, Damen Koh, Lok Versa, Museum, Rawalpindi old bazaar, Raja Bazaar.

Day-02: Drive from Islamabad to Chilas

Drive to Besham 261 km, 6-7 hours, after lunch continue drive to Chilas on Karakorum highway 200 km, 4-5 hours. Overnight at hotel
The Karakorum highway, extending for approximately 800 miles, is one of the world's most well-known roads. The construction of the road was undertaken by the Chinese and Pakistani governments to link the two nations. The road is also referred to as the Friendship Highway. The road earned international fame, with some even referring to it as the eighth wonder of the world, because of the difficulties the workers faced in constructing it as well as the fact that it is one of the highest highways in the world. A section of the road goes through the Karakorum Mountains at a height of 15,466 feet.

Day-03: Drive from Chilas to Skardu

Drive to Skardu along with Indus River 8-9 hours, 290 km. En-route stop at junction point of three great mountain ranges meet, The Karakorum, Himalaya and Hindukush and stop at Thalichi for photography from Nanga Parbat 8,126 m

Day-04: Local visits in Skardu & Shigar

Morning drive to Shigar valley 35 km, visit Shigar Fort, Shigar valley and the Cold Desert, also known as the Katpana Desert. Afternoon visit Satpara Lake and hike to Kharpocho fort from Skardu city 2 hours.

Day-05: Drive from Skardu to Khaplu Village

Drive to Khaplu village 100 km, En-route stop at various viewpoints for photography. Arrive Khaplu and transfer to hotel.
After refreshment visit Khaplu Fort and Khaplu village. Evening enjoy walk and photography from the colors of blossom in Khaplu village.

Day-06: Drive back from Khaplu to Skardu

Morning visit Chaqchan Mosque and Khaplu village, afternoon drive back to Skardu 100 km.

Day-07: Drive from Skardu to Gilgit & Hunza

Drive to Gilgit 240 km, after lunch in Gilgit visit Gilgit Bazaar and Kargah Buddha and drive to Hunza valley 100 km, en-route stop at various view points for photography and refreshment.

Day-08: Local visits in Karimabad and Altit

Morning visit Baltit Fort 700 Years old and Baltit village, afternoon visit Altit Fort 900 Years old, Altit village and visit the women carpenters of Hunza. Evening enjoy water channel walk from Karimabad to towards Hyderabad village.

Day-09: Karimabad Hopper and Duiker valley

Morning excursion to Hopper valley, visit Hopper glacier and Hopper valley, afternoon drive to Duiker valley thirty minutes arrive and transfer to hotel. Evening enjoy sunset at Duiker View Point.
Duiker valley is view point to see the Sunset and Sunrise over the beautiful mountains in the surroundings of Hunza).
Duiker valley Called (Roof of the world), have a spectacular view down to Karakorum Highway and awesome views of Golden peak 7027 m, Rakaposhi 7788 m, Ultar Sar 7388 m, Diran Peak 7266 m, Lady Finger 6000 m and Disteghil Sar 7885 m.

Day-10: Duiker- Attaabad Lake- Gulmit & Passu

Drive to Passu one hour 50 km, en-route visit Attabad Lake, arrive and transfer to hotel.
Afternoon visit Borith Lake, Gulkin village, Gulmit village, Passu white Glacier, Passu village, Hussani village and Hussani suspension bridge.

Day-11: Passu- Khunjerab Pass and Karimabad

Full day excursion to Khunjerab Pass 4733m, Pak- China Border, evening drive back to Karimabad. Khunjerab Pass elevation 4,733m is a high mountain pass in the Karakorum Mountains in a strategic position on the northern border of Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan region and on the southwest border of the Xinjiang region of China. Its name is derived from Wakhi ‘Khun’ means Home and ‘Jerav’ means spring water/water falling. The Khunjerab Pass is the highest paved international border crossing in the world and the highest point on the Karakorum Highway. The road way across the pass was completed in 1982, and has superseded the unpaved Mintaka and Kilik Passes as the primary passage across the Karakorum.

Day-12: Drive from Karimabad to Besham

Drive to back to Besham on Karakorum highway 9-10 hours. En-route stop at various view points for photography and refreshment.

Day-13: Drive from Besham to Islamabad

After breakfast departure for Islamabad 261 km, en route visit Taxila, which includes Taxila Museum, Julian, Mohra, Moradu and Sirkap. Arrive Islamabad and transfer to hotel.

Day-14: Fly back Home

Transfer to Islamabad airport for international flight
