Expansive, undulating alpine meadows and glistening streams invite leisurely walks through the pass known as the King’s Polo Ground, or Shah Jinali An.
The picturesque and moderately challenging Shah Jinali trek intertwines with the enchanting Thui Valley, nestled in the Hindu Raj range between the Chitral and Gilgit regions.
Embarking from the legendary Turikho Valley of upper Chitral, the journey follows gentle paths through verdant pastures, picturesque alpine meadows, and seasonal settlements. The only demanding segments entail crossing the Hoghost Bar Glacier and navigating the 4500m Thui Pass, the pinnacle of this trek. Descending into the Yasin Valley, we proceed with a drive to Gilgit.
The trek is enhanced with a visit to Kalash Valley, offering an immersive experience of its unique primitive culture
