Trekking Route
The trek begins in the picturesque village of Hushe, known for its warm hospitality and rich culture. From here, trekkers traverse along ancient trails, passing through lush green valleys, cascading waterfalls, and quaint mountain villages. As you ascend higher into the mountains, the landscape transforms, revealing sweeping vistas of snow-capped peaks and glaciated valleys.
Masherbrum Base Camp
The highlight of the trek is reaching the Masherbrum Base Camp, situated at the foot of the majestic Masherbrum Peak (also known as K1). Standing at an impressive height of 7,821 meters, Masherbrum is one of the most iconic peaks in the Karakoram Range. The base camp offers a mesmerizing view of the towering peak, surrounded by jagged ridges and glaciers.
Best Time to Trek
The best time to embark on the Hushe Masherbrum Base Camp Trek is during the summer months, from June to September. During this time, the weather is favorable, and the trails are free from snow, allowing for a comfortable and enjoyable trekking experience.

Detailed Itinerary Hushe Masherbrum Base Camp Trek
Welcome at Islamabad airport, and transfer to hotel.
Afternoon proceed for city tour of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, which includes famous Faisal Mosque, Shakar Parian, Pakistan monument, Damen Koh, Lok Versa, Museum, Rawalpindi old bazaar, Raja Bazaar.

Today we take the short but spectacular flight to Skardu one hour. Afternoon is free to explore Skardu town.
Note: If our flight is cancelled due to bad weather, we will start the drive to Chilas via Babusar Pass 4,173 m, 461 km.

Free/preparation day in Skardu. Today we enjoy a free day in Skardu where we can visit the Bazaar and Khurpucho Fort.
Note: If our flight canceled on day 2, we will spend 8-9 hours driving from Chilas to Skardu along with Indus River.

Drive to Hushe by jeeps via 6-7 hours 120 km.
Hushe is starting point of our trek. It is a spectacular drive from Skardu to Hushe. The jeep road crosses the Shyok River and passes the villages of Khaplu, Macholo, Kanday and Khane.
